SANTO DOMINGO

We wanted to walk to this nearby town, but we decided to try to walk back.  Even that proved too challenging and not too interesting, at least on the route mapped by the phone.  So, we stopped trying and took a cab back.

While in the town we looked through another grocery chain like Aldi's at home, but we better liked Mas x Menos and waited to shop there later in the day.

We did sit for quite a while in the town square watching the people and the white church.

 These two made a cute couple.  We watched them play rock, paper scissors.  She was a great one for laughing and laughed almost all the time she was there.

 Next we went to a small plaza and looked at the stores.  I was very surprised to see Marilyn Monroe covering the outside of one shop.  So odd to have her still an icon.

Coffee and a bit of off diet sweet tasted great.

I liked this view.  It was just as we exited the plaza.
